Hola!

We are now into the last two weeks before our trip to El Salvador. There is a lot of excitement in the air. Last night at Tuesday Night Live (worship at the Wesley) we prayed for everyone going on the trip, and then we prayed for other people going on different mission trips this summer...

And we also prayed for those who would be staying domestically this summer and the things God has planned for them as well. It felt a little bit like in Acts when the church elders commissioned Paul and Barnabas to go be missionaries and everyone laid hands on them and prayed.

As much as we are excited, there is still so, so much to do before we go. Please pray for us as we continue to pull together medical supplies for the clinic, write curriculum and devotionals, plan activities and skits and practice our Spanish! Por favor, ora por nos, mientras que, nos continuan juntar provision de medico, escribimos planes de estudios y devotos, planamos actividads y dramas y practicamos hablar de espanol! (That only took my like 10 minutes to write out to you in Spanish, and tomorrow, Juan will probably tell me that sentence made no sense in Spanish. And he wonders why I never speak in Spanish to him. haha!)

Also, please pray for our team as most of us are in the midst of finals and finishing up school projects and trying to graduate college. It is a big time in our lives, just the kind of times through which God loves to show himself to be sovereign in the midst.

Last night I was reminding the team about how mission mascot, Nehemiah, who never acted without first praying, and after praying always acted. I pray that we would be a people united in prayer, and mighty in the power of the Holy Spirit acting through us.
