Who is the UCM? UCM is comprised of students of all faiths and backgrounds - including those who are not sure they have a faith background. UCM is a "ministry of inclusion," meaning that we believe everyone is a child of God and that all are welcome - regardless of faith tradition, race, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, ability, or background. We're located at the "Little Blue House" at 2839 East 5th (at the corner of 5th & Evanston across from Chapman Hall).
What does UCM do? We are student-led, so we do what students feel called to do. In the past that has included bible studies, film discussion groups, speakers, community service projects, worship services, social activism, concerts for peace, and more. UCM is also committed to issues of justice and seeks to foster caring community in which student can discuss spiritual, social, and political issues of mutual concern in a non-threatening friendly environment.
Who supports UCM? Several local churches from a multitude of denominations, including Presbyterian, Disciples of Christ, Episcopalian, Congregational (United Church of Christ), Unitarian Universalist, and Lutheran.
How do I find out more? Join us each Wednesday at noon for free vegetarian lunch, contact director Nancy Eggen at (918) 808-4764 or nancy-eggen@utulsa.edu, or just stop by the Little Blue House (click here for directions).
Student Organizations UCM serves as an umbrella organization for a number of campus activist groups, all of whom have individual goals and objectives but also work together to help realize the common goals of tolerance and justice.mailto:nancy-eggen@utulsa.eduContact%20Us.htmlshapeimage_1_link_0shapeimage_1_link_1
