The nominal rent for an offcampus housing is about US$ 600 for a decent 2 BHK flat and about US$ 200 as fixed charges for electricity and internet etc. The total amount is shared between the inmates of the appartment. |

As a gesture to our new students we give a courtesy ride to all those who request the same. All you need to do is, drop your arrival details on the website guestbook or in person to one of the ISA members and we will make sure that someone is there to pick you up at the airport. |

We try our level best to find a place for students who confirm their arrival and request for booking an appartment. Most of the appartments we try to locate are close to the TU campus and have pretty reasonable rents. Students usually prefer to share the appartment, so if you have your roommates already decided, let the concerned person at TU know about the same. Otherwise we can also try to match students who are looking for roommates. You can direct any if your request to the ISA Committe members, from the 'contact us' page of the website. |

You will not need a large amount of "cash" here, so get around US$ 200 in cash. You can get the remaining money as demand draft, traveller's cheque or traveller's card. It takes around a week to get your account functional. Besides the fees, you will need around US$ 1200 initially for settling down during the first month of arrival. We would recommend keeping another 1000$ extra, just in case of emergencies. |

You can arrive as much as one month before the official start date of college. Arriving early will help you to find an apartment quickly, and if ur lucky, get a on-campus job. Arriving 20 days before the start date is a reasonable time. |
