Step 1: Claiming Your Organization

The first step to editing your organization is to make sure that you are listed as the president of the organization. Only presidents are allowed to update their organizations. If you need something changed, contact your organization president. That being said, let's start. First, log in using your UTULSA username and password. Once you've done that, you can now attempt to claim your organization. Go here and select your organization from the drop down menu. Then, simply click "Claim", and you will now have the rights to edit your organization! If you didn't get an error, please move on to step two. However, it may happen that someone has already claimed the rights to edit your organization. The claim application will tell you that this problem has occurred, and present you with an email box to contact the admins. Describe the situation in detail, and the matter will be sorted out. If your organization is not listed, and you are a registered organization on campus, please email SA the details and your organization will be added.

Step 2: Editing Your Organization

The second step to this process is updating your information. To do this, go here and fill out as much information as possible regarding your organization. There are two pages: one for simply organization and officer information, the other for event information and normal member information. The normal members on the second page should NOT include those listed as officers. Simply fill out the information on each page and submit it for processing. If you have any problems with this step, contact us and we will do our best to assist you in a timely manner.

Step 3: Wait

Our mothers all told us patience was a virtue right? After you have submitted your update, there is nothing else to be done. Now, simply wait for the administrators to review and confirm your updates. PLEASE do not submit changes multiple times. This will not get you served any faster. The update has now been submitted for review by SA to assure that the information being posted is valid, and that there are no problems with any of the updates. The wait is unfortunate, but necessary.

Congratulations! You have successfully updated your organization's information and may now explore your and other's organizations information on the site. Enjoy!
