Persons whose e-mail addresses were on file with ISA headquarters as members of the Post-Communist States in International Relations Section have been automatically enrolled as subscribers of the PCSIR E-mail Discussion Group, which is located at pcsir@egroups.com.

Only subscribers have access to the list. Posts to the list are unmoderated, i.e., list members post directly to the mailing list without going through the moderator. Posts may be made only from the e-mail address from which a member has been subscribed to the list, i.e, the address at which he or she receives messages from the group. Persons not currently belonging to the Section may apply for a subscription to the discussion group by sending an e-mail request, explaining their interests and circumstances, to the PCSIR webmaster, who is also moderator of the list.

E-groups.com provides our section with this service in return for including discreet advertisements with messages. We monitor to ensure that these remain in acceptable good taste.

The PCSIR Section wants to encourage full and open discussion of relevant topics. However, like all listserves, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of the list. Therefore, when discussing sensitive topics, members should exercise discretion.
